Break dancing gets highlighted.

There's a show that debuted on Hulu called 'The LXD' (The League of Extraordinary Dancers). Their pilot episode is titled "the Tale of Trever Drift" which explains how the episodes main character, Trevor, discovers his break dancing abilities. It's a strange premise for a show but I found the break dancing towards the end of the episode spectactular.

  1. nice! the breakdancing in that episode was really good. since being directed by jon chu, do you know if the breakdancers were from his ACDC crew? i don't know the members, but i wouldnt be surprised if they were. thanks for this, i may go on hulu and watch this now.

  2. Tony, I love that you think it's a strange premise. I think it's a really funny example of exactly what Prof Smith-Moore was talking about with that Kia commercial--but in this case, it's influence of the "hip hop aesthetic" on reality television show programming and how performance is everywhere. But either way, I'm stoked to watch this this weekend.
